I’ve always enjoyed exercising, but never pursued running, until 2014 on turning the big 50 my life took on a whole new positive direction, I started off with 13 stairs at work during lunchtime and tea time, and still doing it now at +- 800 stairs on feeling good days. I then started noticing the growth in confidence and self esteem, no to mention the toning, and it result in great determination and perseverance to set goals and go for them.
I took on the road and enjoy every bit of it, in fact I am addicted.
I started running in 2014 about 2 x 10km,thereafter in 2016 I ran about 10 x 10 km in 2017 my first 15 km and my first 10 km trail with CMIYC, I love the outdoors and the beauty thereof. I’ve signed up with the group about 6 months ago, and looking forward to exciting and adventurous challenges.
