Leader: Gordan’s Bay, Strand
I started walking with RunWalk for Life in 2005 and it wasn’t long before I started running. I was eventually participating in every weekly 10km road race I could find.
Early in 2017, work pressures and family life took over and soon it was easy to make excuses and not go for my daily run. After a short break of 18 months from running, I started to gain weight. I felt heavy and unhealthy. That was the sign – it was time to get back on road!
I joined CMIYC as a Leader in Gordon’s Bay and have committed my time to helping ladies in my area to achieve their running and fitness goals.
