From 9-5 I’m living up to the Chartered Management Accountant role my email signature labels me as (but who am I kidding, it’s never only 9-5). Being bound to an office for the majority of the day makes me enjoy and appreciate running and getting out in nature just so much more. I’ve started running at University mainly to keep/stay fit, enjoy nature and as a stress release and those reasons are pretty much why I haven’t stopped running since!
I usually run two short runs a week with a longer run on the weekends. I try and get my friends to join me when possible, but don’t mind running alone if that means the run (and endorphins) gets done. I mainly participate in 10km races and you’ll always find me at a weekly Parkrun, as well as the occasional trail run and if I’m feeling courageous, a 21km.
