My name is Sandi Bradley and I am a working, married Mom of two children. I was always very active and sporty at school, when I left school I mainly just stuck to going to the gym. After I had my second child I was bored with the gym and joined a Bootcamp class. This involved quite a bit of running as you can imagine. At school I was always a sprinter and was not a fan of any type of distance running, so I was very surprised when I really enjoyed the running at Bootcamp. I started running outside Bootcamp and completed my first 10km race in 2011. The bug then really bit and I wanted to do a 21km. My first 21 was the Two Oceans in 2012. It was an awesome race, and I knew I wanted to carry on running
What I love about running is that it’s a competition with yourself, there will always be someone faster, stronger etc then you, but that doesn’t matter, running is about being the best you can be. I love going to races and seeing people from all walks of life doing what they love. There is always such an amazing feeling of comradely in the running community.
I would love to help other women reach their running goals and be the best that they can be.
