I’m proof that if you want to get to that finish line, you can – you just need to want to. I’m an ex smoker, very chunky girl and exercise avoider, and through running, I’ve rewritten my script and become healthier and goal driven.
I started running by jogging between lamp posts – running one, then resting another. I now have 11 Comrades and 14 Two Oceans Ultras finishes in my legs, and I still cry at every finish!
I also run my own communications consultancy and a parenting blog, and I run after my two kids. I love makeup, Paris, reading, writing, and great coffee (never instant!).
