I’m running 21km on Tuesday 21 March. Can I join the training programme after that?

    • Love you can join at any time the programme. Lindy can have a introduction session with you few days later. Group Runs will take place every day (Mon-Sat). We offer runs in the morning (6am) as well as in the evening (6pm) and it will be in Sea Point, Gardens, Table Mountain, Century City or weekend runs on e.g. Chapman’s Peak. Let me know, if you need any more help.

  • Time for training session. I’m based in kempton park and I would love to be part

  • Hi, I am interested, and would like to know what the training times and dates will be to see if they will fit into my diary
Is there any way you can give me that information upfront, so that I can make an informed decision
    Many thanks
    Tracey

    • Hi Tracey, the CMIYC Group Runs will take place every day (Mon-Sat). We offer runs in the morning (6am) as well as in the evening (6pm) and it will be in Sea Point, Gardens, Table Mountain, Century City or weekend runs on e.g. Chapman’s Peak. Let me know, if you need any more help.

  • Hi, I’m very interested, but time is always my big challenge. In your opinion how many times a week would you need to ensure you run in order to follow this programme?

    • Hi Emma, thank you so much for your interest in our programme 🙂 We will have daily group runs (mostly you can choose between a morning and an after-work run). The group also trains on the weekend. We suggest joining the CMIYC Trainings Run 2-3 times a week and do some runs by yourself 🙂 Let us know, if you have any more questions. Hope to see you soon.

  • What time will the after-work runs be?

  • Do I need to be able to run 5km already before I can sign up fot the beginner program? I really am a complete beginner…

    • Hi love, you can join even you can’t run a 5km yet. Lindy will work close with every lady to make sure to reach her personal goal. We will get there together. Come and join us! Hopefully see you next Monday 🙂

  • Hi – I can run a straight 5 -6 km but am a slower runner. And I am terrible at hills! Will I be OK in the beginner group?

    • Hi love, you are more than welcome to join. I am sure we can reach every goal with you and Lindy will work close with each lady 🙂 Hopefully see you next Monday 🙂

  • Hello, really looking forward to the training!!! Please add me to the what’s up group. Cell number 0769018689. Thank you.

  • Hi there. I am keen to do the 21k programme, but I would like to know training times. I can only train during week from 8.30am, or early on a sunday morning. Are these times available?

    • Hi Janine, Training Runs will take place every day (Mon-Sat). We offer runs in the morning (6am) as well as in the evening (6pm) and it will be in Sea Point, Gardens, Table Mountain, Century City or weekend runs on e.g. Chapman’s Peak. Let me know, if you need any more help. We do not have runs in the morning at 9am, only earlier or late in the afternoon.

  • Hi there. Whereabouts in Garden is the starting point for the daily runs?

  • Hi
Can I join even though I belong to another running group.

    • Hi love, yes you are more than welcome to join CMIYC, or our programme. CMIYC is not a running club, more a running community for women. Hope to see you soon.
