Join our exciting CMIYC 5km Training Programme and start your running journey with us.  This programme is aimed for total newbies or runners, who haven’t hit the pavement since summer. If you can walk, you are ready to start!

Our CMIYC 5km Training Programme is perfect to get you off the couch and across the finish line in 6 weeks. Our inspiring Leaders will motivate you, to finish your first (or fastest!) 5km CMIYC Fun Run with a bang, even if you have never (ever!) run before!

Run Your First (or Fastest!) 5km with us in 6 Weeks

Start your 5km Training Programme with us on Saturday, 9th September 2017 to achieve your personal running goal and meet like-minded ladies along your journey.

Weekly CMIYC Group runs will be scheduled daily in advanced for the 6 weeks program. You will be able to choose between morning and evening runs. This 5km training programme incorporates a mix of running, walking and resting. We recommend to join at least two CMIYC Group Runs a week to reach your goal and stay motivated.

The programme is tailored for different paces.

Group 1: Couch to 5km programme for ladies, who want to accomplish their first 5km. – If you can walk, you are ready to start!
Group 2: Run Your Fastest 5km Run programme for ladies, who want to achieve their personal PB for a 5km run. This is for ladies, who are able to run / walk for 20min.

Weekly training sessions are hosted by our CMIYC Leader in the following suburbs in your city:

Johannesburg: Sunninghill, Birdhaven, Randburg, Roodeport, Edenvale, Soweto, Florida, JHB South

Cape Town: Sea Point, Camps Bay, Rondebosch, Bellville, Parow, Muizenberg

Our leaders will offer morning runs (between 5am – 6am)  and afternoon runs (between 5-6pm).
